CORN FILLED CANVAS CORNHOLE BAGS

This is where it all started and as basic as it gets in a cornhole bag.  A simple cornhole bag made from durable duck canvas on both sides and filled with 1 pound of corn.  These bags break down with use due to the organic filler material and may need to be replaced in as little as three weeks of heavy play.  The corn pulverizes with play and "dusts" out of the canvas when they hit the board.  They bags start out at 16 ounces when new but can quickly weigh as little as 12 ounces within a few weeks.  They are also prone to being eaten by insects and rodents.  These bags cannot get wet or they are ruined.  BOTTOM LINE:  This is an entry level, value bag that is slowly losing traction and popularity as technology in the game of cornhole evolves.

ALL WEATHER CANVAS CORNHOLE BAGS

These bags are made from durable duck canvas on both sides and filled with an all weather plastic pellet.  These bags are a step up from the corn filled bag due to the fact that they are weatherproof and rodent/rot resistant.  These bags also last about 5 times longer than a standard corn bag because the filler material does not break down with play like corn filled canvas bags.  BOTTOM LINE:  This is a good all around backyard bag that works great for any casual player.

BG PRO CLASSIC CORNHOLE BAGS

The BG Pro Classic is the original 2 sided, entry level pro bag.  It is made from durable duck canvas on one side and microfiber suede on the other.  The cotton duck side slides when it lands on the board and the suede side sticks when it hits.  They are filled with all weather plastic pellets which makes them weatherproof.  The downside of this bag is in the fact that if the player does not have a flat, spinning throw then the bag is unpredictable.  One time it may hit the board on the slide side and the next time it may land on the stick side.  This could be frustrating to a novice player.  The upside of this bag is that when you do master the flat throw then you've added a whole new dimension to your game.  Use the slide side for finesse shots and use the stick side for aggressive throws and blocker bags. This is a bag that falls short of the hole forcing your opponent to throw over the bag to make a cornhole.  This is a very common tactic used by pro cornhole players.  BOTTOM LINE:  This is the perfect bag for the more serious player to start taking your game to the next level when cost is a factor.

BG PRO 450 CANVAS

This bag has just recently become the new standard sanctioned tournament bag that you will find at any top level tournament competition.  It is made from durable duck canvas on one side and suede on the other.  It is filled with all weather plastic pellets.  The only difference between the BG Pro Classic and the BG Pro 450 CANVAS is the closing stitch.  This bag features a seamless (hidden) closure that is preferred by the pro players.  The closure occurs on one side of the bag where the two fabrics meet making it invisible rather than exposed on the top of the bags edges.  This makes for a nicer looking and nicer playing bag.  BOTTOM LINE:  This is a great bag if you plan on competing at a pro level and want to prepare for the bags you will find at the sanctioned tournaments.

BG PRO 450

This was the original sanctioned pro bag since the inception of pro cornhole.  It is made from a 10 ounce brushed cotton twill on one side and microfiber suede on the other.  It is filled with all weather plastic pellets and features a seamless closure.  The brushed twill is a softer cotton fabric compared to the duck canvas which gives this bag a more broken in feel right out of the box.  You will still find many versions of this bag at local and state tournaments that are not necessarily sanctioned events.  BOTTOM LINE:  This bag is the perfect choice for the player who wants a high quality set of pro cornhole bags.  It's easy to transition from a set of these bags to the new sanctioned canvas bags if you do happen to try your hand at a sanctioned tournament.

NOTE:  Our Fighter Pro bags and our Backwoods Pro bags are color variations of the Pro 450.  They are composed of the same materials and the only difference is in the patterns and colors of each bag.

BG ELITE 450

The BG Elite 450 is a slightly higher quality variation of the BG Pro 450.  It is made from 12.5 ounce brushed cotton twill on one side and premium microfiber suede on the other side.  It is filled with a premium blend of plastic pellets and features a seamless closure.  You can also customize the colors of this bag making it the first of its kind on the pro market.  The 12.5 ounce brushed twill paired with the premium microfiber suede creates a more "substantial" feeling pro bag.  It is rivaled by none when it comes to the feel of this bag.  It exudes quality which is evident when you first pick it up.  These bags remain a little more rigid across the life of the bag due to the thicker fabrics.  This can be thought of as a higher quality BG Pro 450 CANVAS sanctioned bag.  BOTTOM LINE:  You just cannot go wrong with this pro bag.  While it is no longer considered a sanctioned bag, its super easy to switch from this bag the the sanctioned bag if you happen to come across one at a tournament.
